Full service office ready to serve Traverse City customers
LANSING, Mich. – Secretary of State Ruth Johnson announced today that the Mobile Office is offering voter registration and other services during a stop at Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
“Every election is important, no matter the size of the community involved, ” Johnson said. “Because of this I encourage students to take advantage of the Mobile Office while it’s on campus and register to vote. They can also take care of any other Secretary of State business they may have, such as renewing license plate tabs or changing their address.”
The Mobile Office will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. near the Osterlin Library at 1550 College Drive, Traverse City. The visit is part of a celebration of National Voter Registration Day.
The Mobile Office is a full-service office and visitors can take care of other Secretary of State business at this event, including renewing driver’s licenses, getting instant titles or joining the Michigan Organ Donor Registry.
